Bath accessories are a high-margin, eye-catching category — the bright colours and low price points make them easy add-on purchases. But the range has more depth than it first appears, so here's how to think about it.
Round loofahs — sold by weight
The classic round bath loofah is graded by gram weight, which tells you how big and dense it is. Pole Star runs from Loofah 100 (9–10 GM) right up to Loofah 700 (65–70 GM). Lighter loofahs are value buys; heavier ones feel more premium and justify a higher price. Stock a spread so customers can trade up.
Belt loofahs — for the back
Belt-style loofahs (or "back scrubbers") have a strap at each end. They appeal to a slightly different shopper and come in the same weight ladder, from Belt 100 to Belt 450, plus special "Rose" and "Rolex" variants.
Handle brushes — the premium pick
Long-handled loofah brushes (Regular and Sparkle) are the top of the range. They carry the highest MRP in bath care and photograph beautifully, so use them as the "hero" product in your display.
Merchandising tip: hang bath care at eye level near the bath-soap aisle. The colour mix does the marketing — just keep all weights in stock.
